Property owners clash over flooding and parking lot crisis

In a recent government meeting, property owners from the Forest Hill Professional Condo Association raised urgent concerns regarding ongoing issues affecting their parking lot, primarily caused by a broken sprinkler pipe from a neighboring property. Rena, the association president, detailed how the flooding from the broken pipe has led to significant damage, creating large crevices in their parking lot. Despite multiple bids to rectify the situation, the association is unable to proceed with repairs until the neighboring property, identified as 1499, addresses the leak.

The issue has persisted for months, with Rena explaining that the sprinklers activate early in the morning, making it difficult for residents to notice the flooding until contractors were called in to assess the damage. The association has attempted to communicate with the owner of the neighboring property, J. Krigsman, sending a certified letter on April 29, 2024, but has yet to receive a response.

The board acknowledged the complexity of the situation, noting that the construction activities from a nearby plastic surgery center have further complicated the parking lot's accessibility. Rena emphasized the urgency of the matter, requesting an extension to allow time for the neighboring property to resolve the plumbing issue before they can proceed with their own repairs.
