Goleta Council proclaims June 2024 LGBTQ plus Bridal Month

In a recent meeting, the Goleta City Council approved several grants for the fiscal year 2024-2025, including funding for Girls Inc. and the Wildlife Care Network. The council streamlined the voting process by combining these two items into a single vote, which passed unanimously. Following this, the council moved on to approve the remaining grants associated with the agenda item.

The council also addressed the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) action plan for 2024-2025, which was approved after some clarification regarding the details of the LEAP award. The council members expressed their intent to ensure all aspects of the action plan were covered in the vote.
