Zoning change sparks heated public debate

Despite the proposal, city staff expressed opposition, citing concerns that the change could lead to isolated zoning. Gaster countered these concerns by presenting a broader context of the surrounding area, arguing that the proposed zoning change would not create isolation as suggested in the planning department's report.
