City plans modern makeover for former gas station site

In a recent government meeting, John Leclerc from station Globe presented a proposal regarding a new signage installation at 651 Central Ave, previously the site of a Shoprite gas station. The location has transitioned to a new brand, Market 32, and the gas station is being rebranded under the Mobile name.

Leclerc explained that the proposed sign will be significantly smaller in square footage compared to the previous Shoprite signage, aiming to provide a more modern aesthetic that aligns with the city’s character. The new monument sign is designed to meet Mobile's branding standards while enhancing the visual appeal of the area.
