West High School graduates celebrated for record achievements

In a heartfelt ceremony, West High School celebrated the graduation of its Class of 2023, highlighting the remarkable achievements of its students amidst the challenges posed by the global pandemic. The event, attended by faculty, staff, and community members, showcased the school's commitment to academic excellence, with four students receiving prestigious awards out of twelve given statewide.

Principal Wright praised the graduating class for their impressive accomplishments, including 25 National Merit Scholar semifinalists and over $5 million in scholarships awarded, including 82 full-ride scholarships.
