School District Faces Tough Choices Amid Declining Enrollment

In a recent government meeting, officials discussed the pressing need for a feasibility study regarding the future of West High School, highlighting significant concerns about academic performance and facility conditions. Currently, only 39% of West High students meet academic standards in science, a statistic that predates the pandemic and raises questions about the effectiveness of the existing infrastructure.
