Council approves controversial increase in housing units

In a recent government meeting, significant changes to a proposed residential development at 612 Wheely Ferry Road were discussed, with the Planning Commission recommending an increase in the number of homes from 42 to 49. The new layout also allows for larger lots, which developers argue will provide a greater variety of housing options.
