In a recent government meeting, officials highlighted the significant growth of the industrial and commercial sectors in Orem, Utah, underscoring the area's business-friendly environment. The Orem Tech Center, spanning 69 acres, features six warehouse buildings with over 700,000 square feet of space. Notable tenants include Lakanto, which has established its North American presence in Orem, and American Crafts.

Additionally, the nearby Commercial Center, covering 15 acres, houses three industrial flex warehouses totaling over 200,000 square feet. Among its tenants, Just Ingredients has emerged as a key player in the health and wellness industry, recently recognized as one of Utah's fastest-growing businesses and awarded the official health and wellness partnership with the Utah Jazz. The company has expanded rapidly, employing over 170 individuals at this location.

The meeting also noted the successful remodeling of Stevens Henninger College, enhancing the local business landscape. Other businesses mentioned include SFC Energy, a provider of hydrogen and direct methanol fuel cells, which has partnered with LiveView Technology, and Orem Foot Solutions, one of the newest additions to the local market.
