Tina Turentine, a family member of an incarcerated individual, echoed these sentiments, sharing distressing accounts of anxiety attacks and inadequate cooling measures within the facilities. She criticized the lack of timely responses from officials regarding the situation, stating that while some inmates are suffering from extreme heat, they are not receiving adequate relief, such as ice water or proper ventilation.

Jodi Hocking, another concerned citizen, called for accountability and suggested the introduction of independent investigators to verify temperature claims made by the administration.
