Water Authority Gains Independence with Critical Loan Approval

In a recent government meeting, significant steps were taken to enhance the operational independence of the Washington Water Authority (WWA) and address urgent infrastructure needs. The board approved a resolution to transition WWA from a project of the Washington County Rural Development Authority (RDA) to a standalone public water authority.
