Residents Demand Action on Severe Parking Crisis at Moonlight Beach

Residents of Encinitas are raising concerns over a growing parking crisis near Moonlight Beach, as highlighted during a recent government meeting. A local resident, addressing the council, described the severe parking shortages exacerbated by new developments in the area. The resident emphasized that the issue is not solely due to beachgoers but also affects local residents, as existing parking regulations fail to accommodate the increasing number of homes and accessory dwelling units (ADUs) being constructed.
