Lancaster tax strategy boosts revenue from outside shoppers

During a recent government meeting, officials highlighted the significant revenue contributions made by residents and visitors to Lancaster through local taxes. For instance, if a Lancaster resident buys a car from a dealership in another city, the transaction is taxed at a rate of 75 cents on the dollar, with those funds returning to Lancaster regardless of the purchase location.
