Community unites for successful back to school bash

During a recent government meeting, Lake County officials highlighted a range of community initiatives and financial resolutions aimed at enhancing local services and support systems.

The meeting also addressed the recent severe storm that impacted Lake County. Job and Family Services reported on the successful execution of the annual Back to School Bash, which provided essential resources to approximately 2,600 children and families. The event, supported by numerous local organizations, offered services such as immunizations, vision screenings, haircuts, and school supplies, demonstrating a strong community commitment to supporting families in need.

Lastly, the meeting acknowledged August as Child Support Awareness Month, emphasizing the importance of child support services in the community.
