Community leader demands urgent regulation of dangerous e-bikes

In stark contrast, Mark Puckett, a long-time resident of Liso Viejo, shared a personal account of being severely injured by an e-bike while riding on the Aliso Creek Trail. He recounted the details of his accident, which resulted in multiple broken ribs and a hospital stay. Puckett expressed frustration over the lack of regulation surrounding e-bikes, arguing that they should be banned from non-motorized vehicle areas like the Aliso Creek Trail. He criticized local law enforcement for failing to enforce existing regulations and called for stricter measures to ensure public safety.
