Community leaders demand investment to save historic Eastside homes

Ivy Henderson, a new resident of the Eastside, shared her personal journey of becoming invested in the community. She recounted her family's recent purchase of a home in the neighborhood and expressed optimism about the area's potential for growth and improvement. Henderson noted the neighborhood's recent achievements, including its designation as a historic place and the establishment of a grocery store and career development center, which she believes will enhance the quality of life for all residents.
