Supporters rally for police chief amid community safety concerns

During a recent Burlington city council meeting, community members voiced their support for Police Chief John Murad's reappointment, highlighting his effective leadership and local roots. Longtime resident Dave praised Murad for his ability to navigate challenges, stating, \"I think he's done an outstanding job navigating strong headwinds and rough seas.\" He encouraged council members to vote in favor of Murad's reappointment.

Lee Morgan, another resident, echoed this sentiment, emphasizing the importance of community safety and Murad's progressive approach to issues like Narcan administration.
