City Council Honors Unsung Heroes of Community Service

During a recent meeting of the Morgan Hill City Council, several commissioners were recognized for their dedicated service to the community. The council highlighted the significant contributions of these individuals, emphasizing their roles as \"unsung heroes\" who commit substantial time and effort to various city commissions.

Among those honored was Keri Cara, who served on the Library, Culture, and Arts Commission from May 2017 until her upcoming term end in April 2024. A fellow commissioner expressed deep gratitude for Cara's seven years of service, noting her impactful contributions to public art and community engagement. The commissioner praised Cara's dedication, vision, and ability to foster meaningful experiences within the community, stating, \"Your innovative ideas and unwavering commitment to making our city a better place will be greatly missed.\"

Additionally, David Lobato and Richard Scott were recognized for their service on the Parks and Recreation Commission. Lobato's term spanned from July 2020 to April 2024, while Scott served from February 2016 to April 2024. Although Scott was unable to attend the meeting, the council acknowledged both commissioners for their commitment to enhancing the community through their work.
