School board urged to embrace inclusivity for LGBTQ students

Following the public comments, the board moved on to the consent agenda, which included the approval of minutes from previous meetings, personnel reports, and a bid award for food service management services. The board unanimously approved the consent agenda, with a vote of 5 to 0.

Student representatives highlighted upcoming team camps for various sports, including cheerleading and basketball, fostering team bonding and practice opportunities over the summer. Additionally, board members expressed gratitude towards Sodexo for their long-standing partnership in food service management, acknowledging their loyalty and contributions over the past 23 years.
