Rico the shelter dog seeks forever home after 300 days

To incentivize adoption, the shelter is offering a $100 Visa gift card to Rico's new owner one week post-adoption, aimed at helping them purchase any necessary supplies for their new pet.

The shelter is currently facing an overcapacity situation, housing more than 350 animals. In response, they are waiving adoption fees for all pets this week, encouraging the community to consider adopting. Fuentes urged attendees to spread the word about Rico and the other animals available for adoption, as the shelter has a diverse range of pets, including kittens, cats, and puppies.
