During a recent government meeting, a resident of The Woodlands raised urgent concerns regarding traffic safety and congestion in the area. The individual recounted a personal experience from the morning, where they were unable to make a left turn at the intersection of Woodlands Boulevard and Commercial Boulevard due to parked cars obstructing the roadway. This incident prompted a request for the installation of a sign at the entrance of Woodlands Boulevard to discourage parking that blocks traffic.

Additionally, the resident highlighted a troubling trend of speeding along the boulevard during early morning hours, particularly between 6:15 and 8:00 AM. They expressed alarm over the safety of children waiting for school buses, who often stand in bike lanes while vehicles speed past at excessive speeds, reportedly reaching up to 50 miles per hour.
