Pelham gears up for spectacular fire on the water celebration

The city of Pelham is gearing up for its annual \"Fire on the Water\" celebration in collaboration with Oak Mountain State Park, scheduled for Wednesday, July 3, 2024. The festivities will kick off at 5 PM, featuring a variety of activities including music and food trucks, culminating in a fireworks display at 9 PM. Attendees are advised that gates will close at 7 PM to ensure everyone can reach the beach in time for the show, with an early arrival around 5 PM recommended due to the event's growing popularity.

In observance of Independence Day, Pelham City Offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4. Additionally, the Pelham Park and Recreation department will host \"Movies Under the Stars\" on Friday, July 12, starting with games at 6:30 PM and the featured film, \"Migration,\" beginning at 8:15 PM at Pelham City Park.

The Pelham Order Department is set to meet on Monday, July 15, at 4:30 PM in the council conference room at Pelham City Hall. Furthermore, the 2024 back-to-school sales tax holiday will commence at 12:01 AM on Friday, July 19, and conclude at midnight on Sunday, July 21.
