The program emphasizes a holistic approach, requiring participants to maintain sobriety and actively seek employment. Families are encouraged to save a significant portion of their income and receive assistance with childcare and school registration.
Evenson shared success stories, including a family that transitioned from the program into stable housing and employment, illustrating the program's effectiveness. Currently, Family Promise can accommodate three families at a time, with stays ranging from three to eight months, depending on individual circumstances.
