Public Outcry Shapes New Hemp Regulations

During a recent government meeting, significant discussions centered around public feedback on hemp product regulations and the establishment of consistent pet food rules across states.

Senator Cleary raised concerns regarding the 151 public comments received about hemp products, prompting a request for a summary of the feedback. Mister Miller, who analyzed the comments, indicated that many responses originated from stores selling CBD products. These comments reflected a desire not only to maintain access to CBD but also to explore the potential legalization of marijuana, which was not the focus of the current rules.
