Family Fourth Celebration Promises Music and Fireworks

In a recent government meeting, officials announced the closure of local offices on Wednesday, June 19th, in observance of Juneteenth. Community members are encouraged to visit the Black Cowboy Museum, which will host events throughout the day, although specific hours were not confirmed.

Additionally, preparations are underway for the Mother-Son Dance scheduled for June 28th at the Rosenberg Civic Center. Tickets are currently on sale for $25 each and can be purchased online or by calling 832-595-3520. The event will take place from 6 PM to 9 PM.

Looking ahead, the Family 4th Celebration is set for July 4th at Seabourn Creek Nature Park, running from 6 PM to 10 PM. This year’s event will mark the 25th anniversary and will feature Texas country music star Casey Donahue, along with a fireworks display.
