Parkview students raise record funds for heart research

During a recent government meeting, it was announced that Parkview School has successfully raised a remarkable total of $29,482 for the American Heart Association as part of the annual Kids Heart Challenge. This initiative, which engages students in fundraising efforts to support heart disease research, has seen significant participation from the community.

The event was organized by physical education teachers Ms. Muscolino and Mr. Krusher, who played a crucial role in facilitating the challenge. Among the top fundraisers recognized during the meeting were five standout students, with Ellemontante leading the pack by raising an impressive $2,837.49. Other notable fundraisers included Damon Beta, who raised $2,003.56, and Yona Booth, who contributed $1,240.69.

The success of this fundraising effort highlights the commitment of Parkview students and staff to support vital health research, reinforcing the importance of community involvement in addressing heart disease.
