Counties unite to tackle workforce crisis and job gaps

During a recent government meeting, officials highlighted the importance of the Right Track program, which aims to provide youth and young adults aged 14 to 21 with professional development and work experiences across 23 county departments. Participants will gain valuable insights into various functions of local government, including processing subpoena requests, accounting practices, data collection for property tax, and community outreach initiatives.

County Manager Berg emphasized the program's significance in investing in the next generation of public sector talent and expressed gratitude to the city of St. Paul for its partnership in workforce solutions.
