City moves forward with ambitious downtown master plan

Fortunately, those concerns have been resolved, allowing the project to move forward without modifications. In another significant update, officials reported a breakthrough in the AT&T denial situation at Calaga Springs. A recent site meeting yielded a potential solution that could preserve the water tower, with plans for a mutually beneficial outcome at McBean Park.

Additionally, the August Planning Commission meeting has been canceled due to a lack of agenda items, allowing the team to focus on refining the code and advancing the downtown plan. These developments signal a proactive approach to urban planning and community engagement in the region.
