Community gears up for festive 4th of July celebration

As the city gears up for its annual 4th of July celebrations, officials gathered to express gratitude for the hard work of city staff and to encourage community participation in the festivities. Commissioner Pedro echoed these sentiments, praising the comprehensive 244-page staff report that aided decision-making. He also highlighted the importance of public comments in shaping the community's events. The Vice Chair commended the assistant city attorney for her effective guidance during the meeting and acknowledged the presence of a student mentee, emphasizing the value of mentorship.

The meeting also served as a platform to promote the pancake breakfast scheduled for tomorrow at Leo Ryan Park, starting at 9 AM.
