Community rallies for Gold Star Monument and youth sports

In a separate update, Chief Hector Blanco of the Kaiser Fire District reported a significant increase in emergency calls, with 579 incidents recorded in May alone, marking an 11.6% rise year-to-date. The chief noted the district's proactive measures for the upcoming wildland fire season, including the hiring of seasonal staff funded by the State Fire Marshal's Office. He also announced community initiatives such as a car seat clinic scheduled for July 9 and ongoing efforts to enhance community safety through risk reduction programs.
