The new plan features a four-star boutique hotel with approximately 90 rooms, alongside 90 multifamily residential units and 51,100 square feet of retail space. The timeline for the project anticipates breaking ground within 12 to 18 months, contingent upon the completion of pre-closing conditions, including the relocation of a sewer line.
During the meeting, officials emphasized the importance of maintaining the project's original ethos while adapting to economic realities. They also addressed community engagement, noting that while there are design parameters in place, there is no formal review process for community input.
