Voter Integrity at Stake as Election Concerns Rise

During a recent meeting of the Navajo County Board of Supervisors, concerns regarding election integrity and management were prominently raised by several residents. Jacqueline Garrett Allen, a local resident, shared her family's troubling experiences with mail-in ballots, noting that her husband received a notice about a change to mail-in voting despite never requesting it, and her daughter received multiple mail-in ballots without her consent. Allen called for a comprehensive assessment of the election management systems, citing reported irregularities and deficiencies that need urgent attention from the board.

Roger L. Gorris also addressed the board, providing feedback on a recent Logic and Accuracy (LNA) test conducted by the elections department. He commended the staff for their professionalism but expressed concerns about the availability of information on the county's election processes, suggesting that better communication could alleviate public apprehensions.
