Celebrating Unsung Heroes in Education and Community Service

During a recent government meeting, several staff members were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the school community, highlighting the importance of dedication and teamwork in education.

Leanne Moran, honored as the staff member of the month, was praised for her exceptional organizational skills in managing class coverages for over 250 staff members daily. Since starting in the high school main office in 2015, she has transitioned to a senior office assistant role, continuing to excel in her responsibilities while maintaining a positive attitude.

Theresa Grazade, a long-time staff member, was commended for her unwavering commitment to supporting students and families. Colleagues described her as a \"second mom\" in the counseling department, emphasizing her compassionate nature and leadership qualities. Grazade's ability to connect with families and her proactive approach to problem-solving were highlighted as invaluable assets to the school.

Jason Payan, a custodian, received accolades for his reliability and character, particularly in navigating challenging situations with integrity. His willingness to assist others and his positive influence on the school environment were recognized by multiple nominations from staff.

Bridget Diludio, the PTA president, was acknowledged for her extensive support of students and staff, as well as her transition to PTA council president after a decade of service. Her role as a tech aide, assisting nearly 1,500 students with technology issues, further exemplified her dedication.

Melissa Baird, a teacher, was celebrated for her energetic spirit and organizational skills, contributing significantly to staff morale and community-building activities within the school.

Amy Cleese, a lead teacher for science, was recognized for her transformative impact on the science department, demonstrating exceptional leadership and commitment to enhancing educational experiences for students.

Lastly, Melanie Hilaroid was commended for stepping into a quasi-administrative role and managing the responsibilities of two instructional coaches during a challenging period.
