Water crisis escalates as officials question costly engineering failures

One board member highlighted the staggering $16 million fee being paid to engineers, questioning the value given that similar projects in other municipalities, such as a new water plant in New York, are being completed for approximately $80 million, despite serving a population twice the size of Riviera Beach.
