City moves to condemn dilapidated property amid owner neglect

In a recent government meeting, officials discussed the ongoing issues surrounding a dilapidated property owned by Damon Guy and Deborah Vivillon. The property has been under scrutiny since August 2022, when a case was opened due to its deteriorating condition. A series of inspections revealed multiple code violations, including inadequate sanitation, structural hazards, and hazardous electrical and plumbing issues.

The timeline of events indicates that the owners have been unresponsive to efforts to address these violations. A citizen complaint in February 2024 highlighted concerns about vagrants entering the property and animals living underneath it.
