City Council Approves Controversial Cell Tower Waivers

The proposed tower is designed to be collapsible, ensuring that it would not pose a risk to nearby homes in the event of a failure. An engineer's assessment confirmed that the tower's design minimizes the risk of collapse, stating that the fall radius is effectively zero.
