City Council Votes to Add Urgent Veterans Support Initiative

During a recent government meeting, council members added an urgent item to the agenda concerning a stand down operation scheduled for Friday, which will involve Veterans Village and the San Diego Rescue Mission. The council required a two-thirds vote to include this item, which was successfully passed without discussion.

Sherry Gogue was the first to address the council, expressing gratitude for their ongoing support of the Paradise Creek initiative. She urged the council to remove a specific grading requirement that she felt was outside the project's original scope.
