Residents demand clarity on confusing garbage can regulations

Lucido noted that many residents were unaware of the specific rules, which he described as \"ambiguous.\" He pointed out that while some neighbors were cited for having their cans out prematurely, others in different parts of the city were not held to the same standard, leading to feelings of unfair targeting.

To address the issue, Lucido proposed a modification to the code, suggesting that garbage cans should be allowed to be placed out 24 hours before and after the scheduled pickup day. He argued that this change would provide a reasonable solution, ensuring that residents would not be penalized for inadvertently violating the code due to its lack of clarity.
