Public hearing set for crucial school budget discussions

In a recent school board meeting, key announcements and financial discussions were made regarding the upcoming budget and committee meetings. A public hearing on the proposed budget for the 2024-2025 school year is scheduled for July 9, with an invitation extended to community members to participate and voice their questions. The committee also recommended the approval of a proposal from Mercer Consumer for student nurse professional liability insurance, which was passed unanimously by the board.

Additionally, the board adopted the final budgets for the 2023-2024 fiscal year, allowing for variable budgets based on actual revenues and expenditures, contingent on compliance with board and regulatory approvals.
