West Seattle Junction BIA expansion sparks heated public debate

During a recent government meeting, discussions centered on the proposed expansion of the West Seattle Junction Business Improvement Area (BIA), which aims to enhance the neighborhood's safety, cleanliness, and vibrancy. Lauren Lundberg, deputy director of the So to Business Improvement Area, advocated for the expansion, highlighting the positive impact of existing initiatives like Summer Fest and Art Walk. She emphasized that the modification of the BIA boundaries would empower the community to invest in improvements that align with their needs.
