Town Council Faces Tough Choices on Tax Increases

During a recent town council meeting, discussions centered on addressing the town's budgetary challenges through potential tax adjustments. Councilman Rooks emphasized that lowering taxes could facilitate passage among voters, suggesting a half-cent general tax could significantly alleviate revenue issues.
