Community leaders unite against rising antisemitism and hate

During a recent city council meeting, pressing issues surrounding community safety and rising antisemitism were at the forefront of discussions. Rabbi Asher Lopetin, director of community relations at the Jewish Federation of Greater Ann Arbor, addressed the council with a heavy heart, mourning the tragic loss of six Jewish individuals who were killed after being held hostage. He condemned a series of antisemitic incidents in the community, including the distribution of hateful flyers and vandalism of public displays promoting diversity.
