During a recent government meeting, the commission reviewed the Bridal Gate project, which proposes the development of 272 single-family homes, two parks, and 25 acres of open space. The project also includes a significant remainder parcel of 36.82 acres located north of the Sand Creek Road extension.
Planning Manager Eric Noothenius introduced the city’s consultant, Cindy Ganos from Rainey Planning and Management, who presented the revised Environmental Impact Report (EIR) and discussed the necessary entitlements for the project, which include a tentative subdivision map and design review.
The meeting highlighted the project's potential impact on the community, emphasizing the balance between development and the preservation of open space. Further discussions are expected as the commission considers the implications of the project on local infrastructure and environmental concerns.
