City council triumphs in battle against short term rentals

Additionally, council members addressed rumors concerning the allocation of $4 million for upgrading the city’s amphitheater at the expense of delaying a new fire station. They categorically dismissed these claims as unfounded, clarifying that no discussions had taken place regarding postponing the fire station project. Instead, the council has authorized staff to conduct studies with Cal Fire to assess the future need for a new fire station, particularly in light of ongoing and upcoming developments in the city.
