Community urged to shape future playground at Hogue Park

City officials are urging residents to participate in an online survey regarding the future playground replacement project at Hogue Community Park. The survey, which focuses on preferences for playground surfacing, equipment, and amenities, is open until June 30. Council member Warnecke commended the Novato Chamber of Commerce for the success of the recent Art and Wine Festival, noting its growing popularity. This bond aims to raise $20 billion for housing, with initial costs projected at $19 per $100,000 assessed value, increasing over time.

Eklund also discussed environmental concerns related to sand mining in San Francisco Bay and the need for cities to develop plans addressing sea level rise, a pressing issue for the region.

Mayor Pro Tem O'Connor echoed sentiments about the Art and Wine Festival and highlighted the upcoming \"Meet Your Council Member\" event, encouraging community participation.
