New shelter strategy aims to support domestic violence survivors

Officials announced plans to add 85 new shelter units over the next two years, with an immediate goal of 45 units this year. This initiative is part of a broader effort to ensure that survivors have access to rapid rehousing and permanent supportive housing, tailored to their specific needs.
