Day care facility proposal sparks community debate

Dawn Clayton has submitted an application for a conditional use permit to establish a day care facility at 24750 Lakeland Boulevard U. During a recent government meeting, Commissioner Muscato presented the staff report, highlighting that the property currently features two masonry structures built in 1966. The smaller of the two buildings, approximately 7,000 square feet, previously housed Fred's Home Services.
