Commissioners clash over short term rental regulations

Commissioner Rhettman Boyse expressed concerns about including condominiums in the existing 500-foot rule, which limits the concentration of short-term rentals. He suggested that condominiums, due to their higher numbers, might be better regulated by allowing a smaller percentage—potentially 10%—to be designated as short-term rentals.
