Council tackles gun violence with new leadership changes

The Pathway to End Gun Violence Advisory Council convened recently, with Chair Miguel leading a meeting that addressed several key agenda items. A notable personnel update was shared, as Jovan Leeson announced her departure from the committee. In her place, Robert Bailey is set to join the council, pending formal approval at the upcoming council meeting.

Chair Miguel clarified that while state law mandates the posting of minutes within 35 days, the committee typically requires more time for thorough review. As a result, the minutes from past meetings have already been posted, and the council agreed that future agendas need not include this item.
