Mayor launches ambitious housing initiative for Atlantic City

In a recent government meeting, officials and community leaders gathered to discuss significant housing initiatives aimed at revitalizing Atlantic City. The meeting highlighted the collaborative efforts between local government, financial institutions, and community organizations to enhance economic mobility and homeownership opportunities for residents.

Jay Lee, the Director of Asset Management for New Jersey Community Capital, expressed enthusiasm for the mayor's vision, emphasizing the importance of creating a stable environment for residents. John Costa, Senior Vice President of Ocean First Bank, reinforced the commitment of financial institutions to support affordable homeownership. Timothy Edmonds, Executive Director of the Atlantic County Improvement Authority, also contributed to the discussion by highlighting ongoing efforts to assist first-time homebuyers through down payment assistance programs.
