Atlantic City launches groundbreaking homebuyer assistance program

In a recent government meeting, officials highlighted a new first-time homebuyer assistance program aimed at supporting residents in Atlantic City. The program is designed to aid households with a maximum income of $123,000, offering up to $5,000 in closing cost assistance and a down payment of up to 10% of the purchase price.

The initiative is part of a broader effort to encourage homeownership in the city, particularly in designated areas including Inlet, Midtown, Ducktown, and Chelsea. Collectively, participants could receive over $50,000 in assistance when combined with resources from community development corporations.
